FULL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
- Arrive in Mexico City and explore the city’s main attractions. Visit the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the historic center of the city.
Day 2:
- Explore the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan, one of the most important archaeological sites in Mexico. Climb the Pyramid of the Sun, explore the Avenue of the Dead and visit the Quetzalpapalotl Palace.
Day 3:
- Take a tour of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a boat ride through the canals and visit some of the floating gardens.
Day 4:
- Spend the day at Xochimilco Ecological Park, a natural reserve with a variety of wildlife. Hike through the jungle and explore some of the ancient ruins located in the park.
Day 5:
- Take a guided tour of Chapultepec Park, one of Mexico City’s most iconic parks. Explore its museums, gardens, and monuments.
Day 6:
- Visit Coyoacan and explore its colorful streets and colonial buildings. Visit Frida Kahlo Museum, Diego Rivera House and Studio, and San Juan Bautista Church.
Day 7:
- Explore La Condesa neighborhood, home to some of Mexico City’s trendiest restaurants and bars. Enjoy a night out in one of its lively bars or cafes.
Day 8:
- Visit Bosque de Chapultepec, a large urban park with plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
Day 9:
- Take a day trip to Cuernavaca and explore its beautiful colonial buildings and gardens. Visit Robert Brady Museum and Palacio de Cortes Museum.
Day 10:
- Spend a day at Tepoztlan, an indigenous village located south of Mexico City. Explore its cobblestone streets and visit El Tepozteco National Park for some incredible views from atop its pyramid temple.
Day 11:
- Take a day trip to Taxco de Alarcon, a beautiful colonial town known for its silver production. Visit some of its silver workshops and browse through its artisanal markets.
Day 12:
- Visit Zocalo Square, one of Mexico City’s most iconic landmarks. Explore its historic buildings, monuments, and churches before heading to Alameda Central Park for some relaxation time in nature.
Day 13:
- Spend your last day in Mexico City exploring its vibrant street art scene in the neighborhoods of Roma Norte and La Roma Norte.
Day 14:
- Depart from Mexico City after an unforgettable adventure!
