FULL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
Start your day by visiting the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church. Take in the beautiful views from the top of the tower before heading over to the National Museum of Iceland to learn about the country’s history and culture. Next, take a stroll through the colorful streets of Reykjavik and stop by some of its unique shops. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Icelandic dinner at one of the city’s many restaurants before heading over to Harpa Concert Hall for a show.
Day 2:
On your second day in Reykjavik, explore some of its outdoor attractions. Take a hike up Mount Esja for breathtaking views or go whale watching off the coast for an unforgettable experience. Afterward, spend some time wandering around Reykjavik’s Old Town and visit some of its galleries and museums. In the evening, head to one of the city’s geothermal pools for a relaxing soak before ending your day with a delicious dinner.
