FULL ITINERARY:
Day 1:
- Arrive in Reykjavik and explore the city center. Visit the Hallgrímskirkja church, take a stroll through the old harbor and take a dip in the Blue Lagoon geothermal pool.
Day 2:
- Head out on a whale watching tour to spot humpback whales, dolphins and porpoises. Afterward, visit Perlan Museum to learn about Iceland’s history and culture.
Day 3:
- Drive to Þingvellir National Park to explore its stunning landscape and go snorkeling between two tectonic plates.
Day 4:
- Visit the Golden Circle and explore some of Iceland’s most famous sites including Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area.
Day 5:
- Go on a glacier hike and explore one of Iceland’s many glaciers. End the day with a visit to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing soak.
Day 6:
- Take a day trip to the Westman Islands and explore its unique volcanic landscape. Hike up Eldfell volcano for breathtaking views of the surrounding islands.
Day 7:
- Spend your last day in Reykjavik exploring its vibrant restaurants, galleries, and shops.
